Does anybody else love chickpeas as much as I do?!

These yummy little Indian spiced roasted chickpeas are the PERFECT snack – filled with protein and complex carbs plus a bunch of other good for your nutrients. SUPER easy to make – simply roast them and keep them in your fridge – enjoy as a snack or throw them into your salad/veggies.

Indian Spiced Roasted Chickpeas

Serves2- 3

Ingredients: 

  • 1 x Organic canned chickpeas, drained
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder, Paprika, Cumin powder and Garam Masala (each)
  • Drizzle of olive oil or coconut oil spray
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method: 

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 C and line a tray with baking paper.
  2. Drizzle the Olive oil (or coconut oil spray) over the chickpeas.
  3. Add the spices and seasoning.
  4. Bake in the oven for about 30 mins or until golden and crispy.

Tips: The spices can be replaced with onion and garlic powder.  This simple snack can be seasoned/spiced to your preference.
