Simply CANNOT get enough of this Healthy Girl Chocolate & Berry Smoothie Bowl – I have had it every day for breakfast this week… UH HUH, Honey!

Spring has officially sprung here in the Southern hemisphere and I am already getting into the warmer spirit by creating all kinds of new smoothie bowl recipes! I hope that you will enjoy this breakfast delight just as much as I do.

Healthy Girl Chocolate & Berry Smoothie Bowl

Serves: 1

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of liquid of your choice (I like doing half almond milk and half coconut milk
  • 1 serving of chocolate pea protein powder (or protein powder of your choice) – I like Phytopro
  • 1/2 – 1 banana, frozen
  • 1/2 cup blueberries OR mixed berries, frozen is preferable
  • 1/4 avocado
  • 1 date (*optional)
  • 1 Tbsp cacao powder (*optional – depends on how chocolatey you want your smoothie bowl to be)
  • 1 tsp chia seeds OR psyllium husk
  • Topping Suggestion: Granola

Method:

  1. Starting with your liquid – place all ingredients into your Nutribullet or blender.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Pour into a bowl and sprinkle with your favourite toppings.
  4. ENJOY!
