ARE YOU READY TO RUN THE 031 WITH ME?
Get your running shoes READY Durban Babes! In just a few weeks our beautiful city will be hosting the first ever FNB Durban 10k CITYSURFRUN!
I have literally been counting down the sleeps until this amazing event gets here! I am BEYOND excited to Run the 031 on Sunday, 8 of October 2017 and I really hope to see some of your gorgeous faces on the road too.
For those of you who follow me on Instagram, you will know that I have incorporated one running day per week into my exercise routine recently. By doing this I have become road-running fit which is now going to help me participate in my first 10k race… EVER! Running a 10k race has been a long-time personal goal of mine. I have also really enjoyed getting to review and run in my new PUMA Ignite Netfit trainers during this time. They have honestly been the biggest pleasure to train in. You can tailor the laces to suit your foot’s unique shape, they are really comfortable and add a great spring into your step while you run. It honestly feels like you are running with no shoes on!
Keen to participate in the event too? Here are some of the details that you need to know!
If you are a lover of road-running and good old FUN then you will really enjoy this race! The FNB Durban 10kCITYSURFRUN promises not only be unforgettable event but also hopes to be one of the fastest 10km races in the world. This means that the route is going to be super quick and flat. YAAAAY for those of us who aren’t mad about running up hills… LOL 😉
The CITYSURFRUN aims to showcase Durban in all its beauty while giving us runners the opportunity to explore and be tourists in our city like never before! Not only can we look forward to some awesome entertainment on the way, the atmosphere is going to be electric and we will get to run alongside some of the world’s best middle distance runners – hows that for some motivation?!
