Air Popped Popcorn
Happiness is… POPCORN! Make your own Healthy Girl version at home with this quick and easy air-popped popcorn recipe.
Ingredients:
1/3 cup of organic popcorn kernels
Seasoning of choice
Method:
Preheat a stovetop over a medium-high heat.
Place 1/3 cup of popcorn into a large pot.
Place the pot on the stove and put the lid over.
Using the pot handle, gently move the pot back and forth. This keeps the kernels moving, stopping them from sticking to the bottom of the pot and burning.
As the popcorn begins to pop move/shake the pot every few seconds.
When the popcorn begins to pop less, remove the pot from the heat, keeping the lid on.
Once the popcorn has stopped popping, you can remove the lid.
Serve plain or get creative and put some of your favourite healthy seasonings on top!
