Let me start of this blog by saying… I’m not called Healthy Girl with a Sweet Tooth for nothing 😉 When it comes to treating yo’self, my approach might surprise you a little bit

Would you believe me if I told you that I typically enjoy 1 x healthy nutrient rich treat every single day?

Uh-huh Honey! Best you believe it! This is one of the key philosophies/tools that I teach as part of The Healthy Girl Way (click here)! This little daily habit which I started incorporating into my routine has worked like an absolute BOMB in helping me to find my balance, satisfy my sweet tooth, keep cravings at bay AND achieve my goals all at the same time.

I used to fight my sweet tooth and restrict myself to weekends, special occasions or cheat meals (like many of us do) but I found that these approaches didn’t give me the balance, results or lifestyle that I was after.

Eventually I decided to turn this all on its head and try a new approach! I came up with the idea of allowing myself 1 x healthier treat every day. And before I knew it – my cravings dropped, my sweet tooth was satisfied, my soul was satisfied and any crazy sweet cravings / binges were a thing of the past.

This daily practice has worked absolute WONDERS for me and many of my clients too. By allowing myself 1 x healthy nutrient rich treat a day it has also helped me to balance out my less healthy treat consumption too.

Don’t get me wrong, healthy treats and creating healthy treats are my JAM! BUT! I am also human and I LOOOOVE a good scoop of gelato, chuckles, speckled eggs and dark chocolate too. And whether it’s a special occasion OR I just feel like it, with ZERO guilt, I let myself ENJOY these delicious indulgences too. WHY? Because indulgence 10000000% forms part of a balanced, healthy and happy lifestyle. NEVER FORGET IT, Beautiful!

I really believe that by allowing myself 1 x healthier treat each day, it has helped me immensely in finding my balance overall and with less healthier treats and cravings too. You can have your treats, eat them too, LIVE and ENJOY your life (with ZERO guilt) all while achieving your goals. You can have it all, I promise.

My Current Go-to Daily 1 x Healthy Treat…

I am typically not a fan of protein bars because they usually taste artificial BUT THESE bars are hands down my fav protein bar to date! The dark chocolate macadamia flavor is my BEST…..
